Frequently Asked Question
1. How can I be sure the Prasad is authentic and blessed?
At Tapasve Bharat, authenticity is our foundation. Our Prasad is sourced directly from the holy shrines of Shri Kedarnath Dham and Shri Badrinath Dham. It is offered and blessed during traditional rituals and Abhishek at the temples before being carefully packed. Each box includes sacred items like Rudra Bhasma or Van Tulsi, ensuring you receive the true divine essence of the Himalayas.
2. Who prepares the Prasad and packaging?
We take immense pride in our social mission. Your Prasad is prepared and packed by over 200 women from 40 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in the remote Himalayan regions of Uttarakhand. By purchasing from Tapasve Bharat, you are directly supporting the livelihood and empowerment of these rural women artisans.
3. How long does delivery take and where do you ship?
We ship across India. Once the Prasad is blessed at the Dham and dispatched from our center, it typically takes 5–7 working days to reach you, depending on your location. Because our products come from high-altitude regions, weather conditions in the Himalayas can occasionally affect dispatch times, but we keep you updated every step of the way.
What is the shelf life of the Prasad and how should I store it?
Our edible Prasad (like the Chaulai/Rice Ladoos) is made using traditional methods with a shelf life of approximately 5 months. To maintain freshness, we recommend storing the Prasad in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. We use premium, food-grade packaging to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
Do you accept bulk orders for corporate gifting or special events?
Yes, we do! Our Prasad boxes and temple miniatures make for meaningful and spiritual gifts for weddings, corporate events, or festivals. For bulk inquiries, please contact our support team at [Insert Email/Phone] so we can provide customized solutions and special pricing for your requirements.
Why is the Prasad only available during certain times of the year?
The portals (kapaat) of Shri Kedarnath and Shri Badrinath Dham remain open only for six months (typically from April/May to October/November) due to heavy snowfall in the winter. Since we prioritize sending freshly blessed Prasad directly from the temples, we only accept orders while the temples are accessible. During the winter months, you can “Pre-Book” your Prasad to ensure you are first in line when the portals reopen in the spring.
